Marshmallow Jetpack (MMJP) is a Web3 gaming platform designed to create an interoperable and fun system across multiple Web3 games featuring NFTs as the primary playing assets, allowing players to use the Mallow Coin as the primary in-game currency. Built on blockchain technology, MMJP aimed to eliminate walled-garden economies, giving gamers true ownership and flexibility in how they engage with digital assets.

An Exciting Story to Tell

As a storyteller, I was thrilled to tell the story that would sell the MMJP properties like Velkin Falling, Klapes, and Next Horizon. Blockchain gaming, smart contracts, and tokenomics are often intimidating or confusing to mainstream audiences, requiring a clear, visually-driven narrative that simplifies the technology while maintaining its depth and innovation. The goal was to bridge the gap between Web3 and traditional gaming—making MMJP IPs feel intuitive, accessible, and exciting for players, developers, and investors alike.

At Marshmallow Jetpack, I contributed to the development of immersive gaming experiences by delivering a full range of multimedia services. I crafted motion graphics, story-driven animations, and produced multimedia content for promotional campaigns and product launches for NFT/Web3 games.

Velkin Falling

The initial IP for MMJP was Velkin Falling; a Web3 NFT-based game with an exciting story and thrilling gameplay. I brought the story and visual elements to life in After Effects, creating smooth motion graphics that illustrated the topic. Finally, I polished the edit in Premiere Pro, balancing animation, narration, and sound design to create a dynamic, digestible explanation of a groundbreaking Web3 Gaming innovation.

Using this video, we raised over $70K on Start Engine with this.

MMJP Roadmap

As Velkin Falling proved to be a long-term project, MMJP Leadership shifted to focus primarily on a Web3 NFT project called Klapes. Klapes eventually included NFT comics, a games called Klapes Klubhouse, and a second NFT collection called Baby Klapes.

My creative marketing work for Marshmallow Jetpack was key in the successful launch of the Klapes NFTs which sold out all 5000 in less than 5 minutes. Klapes became the first Klaytn NFT project verified on OpenSea.
